Address Validation and Geocoding

Address validation and geocoding enrichment is a part of the solution suite Pitney Bowes Software has a range of geocoding and address validation solutions available to suit any needs. From the enterprise to the desktop level we have market leading solutions that are designed to tightly integrate with any system. When coupled with G-NAF® and Australia Post's PAF® our address validation solutions deliver the most robust, authoritative validation service available to produce a very high reliability of result.

Geocoding is a data enrichment process following address validation. As such it is managed as a different process in our solutions to ensure match and score procedures for geocoding and address validation are optimal. For geocoding we employ several geocoding references in a cascading manner to maximise value match rates and to exploit various geocoding references, like street intersections, building names, postal codes, suburbs and cities or states. Additionally, all of Pitney Bowes Software's geocoding solutions give the client the ability to create customer-specific matching indexes, allowing for further refinement of the validation and geocoding processes.

Pitney Bowes Software's validation and geocoding solutions use extensive indexing and fuzzy logic to account for an array of anomalies that occur from poor data quality, to lift match rates. Coupled with fast performance available on either the desktop, server or Pitney Bowes Software's cloud-based geocoding solution maximises match rates, validates more address and finds more locations. This helps deliver more value for the user.

Predictive Analytics

Pitney Bowes Software provides products and services to organisations requiring analytical decision support for site selection, territory management, and service area management. Already used by many analysts in the retail, communications, public sector and financial markets our offerings use extensive demographic data from the ABS Census, market segmentation models and our own predictive statistics.

G-NAF®

Pitney Bowes Software harnesses the power of G-NAF in many ways. The most popular uses are within our geocoding and address validation suite of products, whereby we will format and append postal data, alias naming and other relevant data to the G-NAF in order to create a comprehensive, yet authoritative reference index. Another common use of the G-NAF is within GIS applications and platforms such as MapInfo Professional. To enable this use Pitney Bowes Software converts and indexes the native PSMA G-NAF formats into more application-friendly files making the use of this powerful data much easier to deploy and analyse.

Cadastral Data

CadastralPlus is a visual database (or cadastre) of every land parcel in Australia, including residential blocks, farms, national parks and government-owned land. It includes a number of unique features that make it one of the market's most refined, usable, and cost-effective cadastral products for the Australian market.

Routing Solutions

Much like our geocoding suite, Ptiney Bowes Software has a range of offerings in the routing space. You can chose to access easy to deploy desktop technology to perform catchment analysis and route generation over a detailed road network or a more heavy duty server-based routing solution delivered onsite or in the cloud for fast, industrial strength routing, matrix routing, catchment analysis and directions.
