PSMA Australia supports widespread access to our datasets through Value Added Resellers (VARs). Our VARs assess the market and incorporate our datasets into their products and services to provide value-added end products. These products are designed for a wide range of industry, government, and community uses that deliver economic, environmental and social benefits to Australia.
There are two levels of access by which VARs can licence PSMA Australia datasets, Full Access and Embedded Access.
- Full access – Resellers in this category are licensed to develop and licence Full & Embedded access products and services containing PSMA Australia data. If you are seeking a flexible spatial or address cleansing product for use within diverse environments to meet a range of solutions, you will most likely need a Full access reseller. Full access resellers are also licensed to distribute raw PSMA Australia data.
- Embedded access – Embedded access resellers are licensed to develop and licence Embedded access products and services containing PSMA Australia data. If you are seeking a product designed to meet a specific or limited spatial task, you will most likely require the services of an Embedded access reseller.

Becoming a PSMA Australia reseller

We discuss the products and/or services that you intend to develop using PSMA Australia data and determine the level of access that you require.
Royalties are negotiated, based on the number of users and the cost of the product/service to the end user.
Once both parties are satisfied with the terms and conditions, the licensing agreement is signed and PSMA Australia begins supplying the data.
