Dan Paull - Chief Executive Officer
Dan is the Chief Executive Officer of PSMA Australia Limited and PSMA Distribution.
Dan graduated with a Bachelor of Surveying (Honours) from the University of New South Wales, and started his career as a cadastral surveyor in a rural practice. He then moved into a large national engineering firm where his experience included the management of large-scale topographic, construction and engineering surveys as well as GIS (geographic information systems) infrastructure management and GPS (global position system) control, network analysis and adjustment. From this hands-on experience, Dan was able to make a successful transition to the management of the spatial information associated with these large projects and ultimately moved into a project management role with PSMA Australia in 1999.
Dan is the author of numerous scientific papers, reports and reviews, and has completed an Executive MBA at the Australian Graduate School for Management. He is also a member of the Geospatial Information & Technology Association – Australia & New Zealand (GITA) GITA Board.
Carol Pedersen - Executive Assistant to the CEO
As Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer, Carol provides high-level administrative support to Dan Paull, the Chairman of the Board, the Office of the Chief Executive, the Executive Committee of the Board, and our Board of Directors.
Michael Dixon - Group Manager, Products and Services Management
Michael Dixon is the Group Manager of Products and Services in PSMA Australia. He oversees the internal and external resources utilised in the data production cycle and has responsibility for the ongoing provision of products and services to PSMA Australia clients. He is also responsible for projects relating to the enhancements of existing products and the development of new products and services for PSMA Australia.
Michael has over 10 years experience in the delivery of geospatial applications, products and services from a local to a Commonwealth level. He has a bachelor degree in science and a masters degree in science and technology.
Joseph Abhayaratna - Chief Technical Officer
Joseph is responsible for technical communication and alignment of solutions with PSMA’s enterprise policies and standards.
Richard Lindsay - Channel Manager - PSMA Distribution
Richard Lindsay has been involved in the Australian ICT industry for nearly 30 years with the majority of that time managing two companies, SAS Institute for 15 years and over 5 years as Managing Director of MapInfo Australia (now Pittney Bowes Business Insight).
Richard’s role as Channel Manager at PSMA Distribution is to manage the Value Added Reseller Channel so that it is operating with the minimum of interference and the maximum of efficiency. In particular Richard is focused on creating new opportunities for the VARS enabling them to move into new markets with innovative solutions based on the PSMA Australia’s datasets.
Stephen Godfrey - General Manager, Administrative Services
Stephen was a PSMA Australia board member and is now an active member of the PSMA Australia team. Stephen is an auditor and an experienced project manager.
Gerry Stanley - Relationships Manager
Gerry is responsible for overseeing the development and enhancement of PSMA Australia’s products including PSMA Data, PSMA Systems and consulting activities. His focus is on ensuring that Australia’s authoritative base map data products continually improve in terms of quality, accessibility, currency and content.
Since joining PSMA Australia, Gerry’s roles have focused on relationship development, sales and contract management. Gerry brings to the role a background in business representation and development; government program and project management; and marketing and advertising. Gerry has been actively involved in the roll-out of PSMA Systems to state governments to provide whole-of-government functionality.
