Dan Paull - Chief Executive Officer

Dan is the Chief Executive Officer of PSMA Australia Limited.

Dan graduated with a Bachelor of Surveying (Honours) from the University of New South Wales, and started his career as a cadastral surveyor in a rural practice. He then moved into a large national engineering firm where his experience included the management of large-scale topographic, construction and engineering surveys as well as GIS (geographic information systems) infrastructure management and GPS (global position system) control, network analysis and adjustment. From this hands-on experience, Dan was able to make a successful transition to the management of the spatial information associated with these large projects and ultimately moved into a project management role with PSMA Australia in 1999.

Dan is the author of numerous scientific papers, reports and reviews, and has recently completed an Executive MBA at the Australian Graduate School for Management.

Nick Littlewood - Chief Operating Officer

In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Nick works directly with Dan Paull and is responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of the business, including Finance, Human Resource Management, Project Management, Information Technology & Telecommunications and Administration.

Carol Pedersen - Executive Assistant to the CEO

As Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer, Carol provides high-level administrative support to Dan Paull, the Chairman of the Board, the Office of the Chief Executive, the Executive Committee of the Board, and our Board of Directors.

Joseph Abhayaratna - Enterprise Architect

Joseph is responsible for technical communication and alignment of solutions with PSMA’s enterprise policies and standards.

Ian McLeod - Business Analyst, LYNX Services

Ian is responsible for the LYNX2 supply chain redevelopment in addition to setting up the PSMA Program Management Office and associated governance structures.

Michael Dixon - Products Business Manager

Michael is the product manager for several of our datasets, including Administrative Boundaries, Transport and Topography and CadLite. As part of his role, he oversees the quarterly data maintenance cycle, and is also the leader of technical development of new data products.

Anthony Hesling - Information Product Manager

Anthony provides day-to-day support to the Product Management Unit. Anthony has a strong background in the Spatial Industry with more than 10 years of experience including large amounts of work on projects for the Department of Defence. His focus is Administrative Boundaries, CadLite, Points of Interest as well as assisting with other technical projects.

Peter Richards - Senior Project Manager

Peter is jointly responsible for the day-to-day management of our Dataset Maintenance Program and ensuring the timely delivery of well maintained and quality-assured national datasets and metadata to our clients. Peter was instrumental in managing the integration of our topographic dataset, as well as building and ongoing maintenance of the Geocoded National Address File (G-NAF).

Dean Coslett- Information Product Manager

Dean has over 10 years experience within the Spatial Industry in both private and public sectors. Dean’s focus is on the maintenance and quality assurance of the Transport and Topography dataset. His role also includes the management of initiatives relating to the development of new data products.

Therese Graczyk - Finance/Payroll Officer

Therese undertakes routine financial and payroll duties and provides effective clerical support to the Finance Manager.

Helen Johnston - Finance Business Manager

Helen is a core member of the Corporate Services team for PSMA. Helen has a history of successful financial management throughout a broad range of industries and has the responsibility of providing financial support and advice to key members of the PSMA Australia team. Helen also provides overall budget support across the organisation and coordinates and consolidates the annual budget process.

Sarah MacDonald - Business Manager

Sarah helps to keep the business competitive in the market by looking at new initiatives that are not only in-demand but will also return social, environmental and economic benefits to Australia. Sarah also manages projects that have a business focus and ensures we have the necessary internal quality management and assurance mechanisms in place.

Gary Tsoi - IT Support Technician

Gary delivers support by managing the technical skills within the PSMA office, including applications support and systems engineering functions, ensuring that proper software and hardware support is provided.

Neil Wilson - Consultant Project Officer

Neil works directly with the Business Program Manager to implement our internal quality management and assurance policies and processes.

Richard Lindsay - Chief Executive Officer - PSMA Distribution

Richard Lindsay has been involved in the Australian ICT industry for nearly 30 years with the majority of that time managing two companies, SAS Institute for 15 years and over 5 years as Managing Director of MapInfo Australia (now Pittney Bowes Business Insight).

Richard’s role as Chief Executive Officer at PSMA Distribution is to oversee the Corporate Governance and manage the operational activities to ensure the Value Added Reseller Channel is operating with the minimum of interference and the maximum of efficiency. In particular Richard is focused on creating new opportunities for the VARS enabling them to move into new markets with innovative solutions based on the PSMA Australia’s datasets.

Gary Sturgess - Partner and Alliance Manager

Gary Sturgess is the PSMA Distribution National Channel and Alliance Manager. He has been involved in the GIS industry since 1996 and has worked for Oracle as the National Channel Manager and, until recently, been with IBM heading up their Federal Government Information Management Team. Gary brings to PSMA Distribution extensive experience in Channel Management, Software and Data Licencing, Contract Management, Sales Management and Data Management. .
